Watercolors
| This page is full of beautiful watercolor images, Rachel
loves painting flowers. She plucks and paints from her own garden and even
friends' gardens, which are bountiful in roses and fruit. Her images of
classic still life and photo realistic flowers are a delight to the eye.
Some of her best work may be done in a rush as the aging flowers drop their
petals. Wildflowers from the tropical rain forest that is the Southern
Oregon Coast, populate a great many of her subjects. While this page
highlights her floral paintings, she has an eye for traditional landscapes
and lighthouses from the Bandon area. She uses elements in her paintings
extending the the image onto the matting. The matting for some can be as
creative as the painting itself. Her paintings are on display regularly in
regional art shows and are for sale in local galleries & restaurants. |
